Join MNVA for an Education Showcase!

Head downtown this summer to relax with your family at our MNVA Education Showcase. You’ll start your day at the Guthrie Theater for our Showcase, featuring presentations about virtual schooling with MNVA. Then make your way over to Mill City Museum where you’ll awaken your senses as you embark on an interactive journey the whole family can enjoy!

Whether you’re part of the MNVA community or interested in learning more, this event offers plenty of opportunities to kick back with MNVA teachers and staff, or to simply find out more. Hear from school representatives, see the K¹² curriculum in action, and experience firsthand what it’s like to be a part of our vibrant, supportive school community.

11:00 am – 12:30 pm: Presentations on virtual schooling with MNVA and the K¹² curriculum
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Family/staff mixer and curriculum review
1:30 pm: Head over to Mill City Museum!

Who are these events for?
These events are open to all MNVA families, as well as any family or friends who may be interested in the Minnesota Virtual Academy and 2009-2010 enrollment.

Food, parking, and extracurricular activities
Extracurricular activities within the venues and food and beverages are not included, so please plan accordingly. Guthrie Theater offers sit-down dining options, as well as Level Five Express for a quick bite to eat. Mill City Museum has a café on site.

Parking is available for both Mill City Museum and Guthrie Theatre attendees at the Mill Quarter Ramp. Daily rates begin at $5.00, payable by cash or credit.

Is there anything else that I should know?
Because Mill City Museum is a short walk from the Guthrie Theater, you’ll want to wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
